About Us
WHO ARE WE?
Hi there!
We’re Ali and Nick, a couple of millennials who love going on adventures and exploring new places.
After years of working in big law and business, we decided to quit our corporate jobs to travel the world in 2019.
And that’s exactly what we did, right up until it all came to a screeching halt as a pandemic spread across the world.
During this time—when traveling is restricted and new experiences are limited—we wanted to share some of our adventures from our travels across the world and create a small escape to another place for you. Join us on our journey as we choose which roads to take while traversing the globe and as we learn, experience, and grow along the way.
At a minimum, we hope we can inform and entertain you. If we’re lucky, maybe we’ll even be able to inspire you.
OUR MISSION
Our passions are travel and adventure. Our mission is to give back to the communities that we visit.
We have been so fortunate to be able to have so many life-changing experiences around the world. We want to share that with you and find a way to make a positive impact in the communities that make this possible for us.
One undeniable truth about traveling is that tourists impact the communities they visit. So many places rely heavily on tourism to improve their lives, meaning this impact does not have to be negative if travel is done responsibly. As a result of the sharp decrease in tourism due to the pandemic, these communities need our help now more than ever.
Our goal is for our travels to result in a net positive impact rather than a negative impact. We achieve this not only by traveling responsibly but also by directly benefitting the places in need that we come across during our travels.
What do we mean by that? It’s simple!
We are committed to donating over 50% of the profits made from MillennialRoad.com to directly support and benefit local communities visited during our travels.
So please enjoy our stories, photos, and the information on our website and know that the majority of the profit made from that will go directly to helping communities in need.
